Responsibilities Tasks

• Prepare and cook Pakistani cuisine including famous karahi curries, curries, biryanis, tandoori items, kebabs, naan, and other traditional dishes.
• Cook food items according to restaurant recipes, portion sizes, and customer orders.
• Operate kitchen equipment including stoves, ovens, grills, fryers, tandoors, and other cooking appliances.
• Ensure dishes are ready according to service requirements.
• Check the quality and freshness of ingredients before use and maintain proper food storage practices.
• Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of prepared meals.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures while handling and preparing food.
• Clean and sanitize cooking areas and kitchen equipment after food preparation.
• Maintain inventory of food ingredients, kitchen supplies, and equipment, and keep records of available stock to ensure required items are available for daily restaurant operations.
• Supervise kitchen helpers during daily food preparation activities, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and according to restaurant standards.
• Train new kitchen staff and helpers on food preparation procedures, cooking techniques, kitchen equipment operation, food safety practices, and restaurant policies.
